I was chuffed Aimée and Mark asked me to be their wedding photographer at Bellinter House. I had photographed her sister Cheeren’s wedding in Druids Glen in 2017. It was lovely to see all the family again. They wanted a low key no fuss day and I think they really achieved that.
Starsky their dog wasn’t too sure about me and kept a close eye on all the morning preparations for their small wedding at Bellinter House. Tracy and Aimee were having great fun with the veil but the wedding shoes were not as friendly… They did not want to get tied.. But Aimée nailed it and managed to arrive on time for her wedding at Bellinter House.
They chose a humanist ceremony and was lovely to see their hands being tied together by their grandmother’s scarf. A nice personal touch.
After the wedding ceremony at Bellinter House, I headed outside to the cold winter sunshine for some photos at the magical tree at Bellinter House. We had such a laugh when shooting our family photos with guests passing in their white dressing gowns – photobombing us. With beautiful light coming through the archway, Aimee did her best to look into the golden autumn light. Cold as it was, it was worth it. I got them done in time for Aimée and Mark to head back to Bellinter House to enjoy a drink and chat with their close friends and family.
Aimée went to a lot of trouble decorating the table for dinner with her aunties cake taking pride of place. No wonder she put her feet up on the sofa under the staircase at Bellinter House! Job well done.
