Real Wedding at Tinakilly House

Real Wedding at Tinakilly House

With living so close to the Wicklow Border, I consider us Wicklow Wedding Photographers and always love to photograph a Real Wedding at Tinakilly House.  So, it was amazing to see Aisiling and Nigel enjoy a summer wedding at Tinakilly House.  Nigel was getting ready with family and groomsmen in Mount Merrion, 5 minutes away from where I live so I agreed to photograph Nigel and the lads that morning, while Anna went to Castleknock to document the girls.  As I am typically with the Tinakilly House bride – it was an eye opener.  The lads, are lads, losing their wedding ties, parading in boxer shorts and just slagging each other.  So was very refreshing to see.

I had heard that Aisling loves chocolate and bread.  Looking at her, she looks like she stays away from that sort of food!!! But I then heard they are both quite the gym bunnies and I think even met while exercising.  So this pair are fit.  It proved vital for their Real Wedding at Tinakilly House.  As both were on task for their wedding photos at Tinakilly House.  Once we finished the ceremony at St Mochtas church in Porterstown, we took the trip to the wedding venue in Wicklow.  With the Longitude concert on that weekend, traffic was busy but my wedding couple at Tinakilly House were still energised to enjoy some wedding photos in the gardens at Tinakilly House.

We couldnt resist a photo by the gazebo at Tinakilly House.  A beatuiful backdrop to spread the train of the dress down and get all elegant!!! But these pair are just fun together and laughed all day.  So was so easy to document their Real Wedding at Tinakilly House.  Meanwhile the guests enjoyed being entertained by the magician.  But the biggest surprise of all came after a few speeches.  The singing/action stunt waiter, who fell to the floor and rose up with a microphone, had all the guests dancing around the room and doing the can can.

Only that the cake was so magnificient, made by Aisling’s dad would the cake cutting seem so boring after that!!!!  Then everyone just let their hair down, especially the flower girls!!!! and enjoyed a boogie.  My bride and groom came outside for a few nighttime photos at their Tinakilly House wedding and I think it paid off.  A time to enjoy the romantic summer evening and take it all in.

I cant wait to be back again to shoot a wedding at Tinakilly House.  A truly magical part of Ireland.  To see more weddings in Tinakilly House, click here.
