Smoke Bomb Wedding at Tulfarris Hotel

It must have been karma when Trisha chose a shade of green for her bridesmaids and even her engagement ring that their wedding was near Paddys Day. And to make it extra special they had a Smoke Bomb Wedding at Tulfarris Hotel.

These two are quite unique. I hear they found themselves in Australia in 2014. They were farming cattle in the middle of nowhere in the outback. To look at them all dressed up you would never know. The pair of them wanted to do a first look at Tulfarris and we chose the lake as the perfect backdrop. It just took Charles a while to work out how to pin his button hole but he was still kept waiting for his bride to arrive by golf cart to the lake.

So good to see the two of them see each other for the first time and just chat and laugh. They took a stroll through the woodland and took the time to get some photos with us before heading to their spiritual ceremony at Tulfarris Hotel. With the lovely Miriam Fitzgerald waiting to marry them.

Not only did they want a photo in the courtyard at Tulfarris but as they had joked with me, they wanted a photo “on the stairs to nowhere”. We thought it would be a cool place to attempt to light the smoke bombs. Charles had told me he bought flares which had us all terrified but thank god, they were smoke bombs and it was such fun to have a smoke bomb wedding at Tulfarris Hotel. The poor girls were not too sure about it but the lads had a ball.

We also took the advantage to use the Manor House at Tulfarris for some family photos and not forgetting the swing. Who could forget the Tulfarris swing. Time flies then, it was time for speeches. So lovely to hear that Trisha fell in love with some of Charles hidden talents – such as knowing how to drink from his shoe, or that if you head butt the ceiling hard enough your head will still go through it.

I think they aced their Smoke Bomb Wedding at Tulfarris and are now looking forward to their honeymoon in Lisbon. No cows there…
