Ciara and Brian got what they wished for. A Druids Glen Sunny Outdoor Wedding Ceremony. When myself and Anna arrived that morning, the talk consisted of “will the weather hold for having an outdoor wedding ceremony at Druids Glen?” And their luck was in. They had a beautiful sunny if rather breezy day. It all started when Brian proposed to Ciara on her birthday while they were living in Bournemouth. And with both of them originally from Dundrum, they picked the stunning Druids Glen for their wedding day.
With Ciara being so organised, the morning with her bridesmaids was lovely and calm. Ciara looked such a beautiful bride in her RK Bridal dress from New York, while the bridesmaids’s dresses were from Ghost. I personally know her parents so it was most enjoyable, chatting to them while everyone got pampered. The boys didn’t take too long getting dressed and had time for a drink at Druids Glen’s bar. The guests walked over the bridge to the outdoor wedding ceremony at Druids Glen and awaited the arrival of the bride.
We took the time to do some family shots for both families and take our lovely couple out on the Druids Glen golf buggy around the grounds for some shots in the woodland. We had time to see the stunning ballroom. Ciara and Brian had kindly left out mini whiskies and gin on the tables for the guests and we really loved their wedding cake, baked by Ciara’s mum, beautifully decorated with two handknit mice.
Ciara and Brian chose the band. The Mix Tape to boogie the night away and we hear they are planning going to the Maldives in January 2020.
