Dog Friendly Wedding at Tankardstown House

Elaine and Jon may have booked me as their wedding photographer Tankdardstown House because of my love of dogs.  With Lola their family dog recently undergoing  two operations, Elaine and Jon held off booking a honeymoon until she is fully recovered! But their Dog Friendly Wedding at Tankardstown House was all systems go.

The boys enjoyed a stroll in the gardens beforehand to make sure all was ready for the guests arrival to the walled garden at Tankardstown House. How adorable that Elaine and Jon and Sophie met for a first look at Tankardstown House on the staircase. With a quick stroll around the gardens for a few extra photos before the ceremony.

Lola proved it was possible to have the perfect dog friendly wedding at Tankardstown House, as she walked side by side down the aisle and sat quietly for the whole ceremony. She did not wander away unlike some of the kids!!!

While the guests enjoyed a prosecco reception, we wandered the full garden including the organic vegetable area where we got to see alot of the vegetables and homegrown fruit that is served up for dinner. We stopped for a obligatory Wedding couple at the Tankardstown Gates photo before heading back inside to mingle with the guests.

We persuaded Elaine and Jon to have a bridal party photo and at that stage poor Sophie seemed to just want to hang with mummy and daddy. But as soon as the band started, it was all systems go for the little ones in fluffy dresses. Even Elaine!!!
