But the real theme of the day as Jennifer told me herself was Booze, Booze, Booze. Having met the pair of them, we knew they were a fun loving couple who wanted a party atmosphere for the day for their Barberstown Castle Wedding. And I think, they totally nailed it.
They planned a springtime wedding at Barberstown Castle and the bride and groom both got ready at Barberstown Castle. The girls looked stunning, especially Jennifer in her Suzanne Neville wedding dress. The lads left early in their London inspired Regal bus. While the girls did their final touches.
The ceremony took place in St Patrick’s Church on the main street in Celbridge. It was a very personal service as Jennifer’s cousin Kieran officiated and the Celbridge Choir gave it socks. With so many guests there, the couple didn’t spend long outside the church and instead headed off with us and the super cool Martin Healy videographer for a quick pitstop at Castletown House. The pair of them seemed to enjoy their little photo session before we headed back to the wedding at Barberstown Castle.
Back at Barberstown Castle, the guests enjoyed a few drinks while we popped outside for some quick family photos. we loved all their details, especially the wine barrel, with the seating plan printed on the wine bottles. All designed by Jennifer’s friend “Flick”. The names of the tables were all Scottish names for being drunk! The Irish twist came later with Tayto crisps for all the guests in the candy cart. There were lots of entertainment for the guests with a photobooth and the great Springbreak to get everyone up on the dance floor.
We hope Jennifer and Jack enjoyed their Barberstown Castle wedding, as much as the guests on the dance floor that night!
