Rebecca & Eoin Cliff at Lyons

Cliff at Lyons Wedding

Rebecca and Eoin are a dynamic couple! Both black-belts in Taekwon-Do. They both have musical backgrounds too and when Rebecca was looking for a bass player, Eoin turned up and they hit it off! After a two year engagement, they chose Cliff at Lyons for their wedding. Since we had photographed at Claire and Sean’s wedding, her bridesmaid and friend, we got the gig! That morning, I fell in love with Rebecca’s parents house in Greystones. Full of interesting artifacts and a stunning garden out the back. A lovely backdrop to the morning preparations for the wedding. Rebecca’s beautiful wedding dress was from Anne Gregory’s in Newtownmountkennedy. With the other colours for the day being gold, ivory and blush pink. The fabulous bouquets and button holes arrived in lovely wooden crates from Fussy Peacock.

The girls were running late at the house and the wedding car was supposed to bring the bridesmaids then come back to collect Rebecca but it was decided to save time the bridesmaids Niamh and Claire would travel in my car. With owning a dog, I didn’t want to subject their lovely dresses to dog hair. So Rebecca’s mum gave me a bedsheet to put on my back seat for them! They arrived on schedule to Kilquade Church for a fabulous ceremony. It was so touching to see everyone excitingly awaiting the arrival of Rebecca.

After the ceremony, we took a group photo outside the church before all the guests headed to Cliff at Lyons. As Rebecca and Eoin had said about Cliff at Lyons, “it felt like we were in our own little world”. We walked through the vegetable garden for some photographs and to the chapel and fountain before heading back for some photos of friends and family. We loved the luscious lemon wedding cake with lemon curd buttercream. We left them to enjoy their dinner and dancing with “Bop Til You Drop” and no doubt they all did…
