Wedding at Luttrellstown Castle

It has been a close call whether Eoin and Megan would ever get to have their Wedding at Luttrellstown Castle. This pair were determined to tie the knot. They didn’t want to put their lives on hold any longer. In fact, during the ceremony, we learnt “Megan waits for nobody”. So they looked at every scenario under the government guidelines in order to try have the best day of their lives. And you know what, I think they aced it.

Megan and Eoin have the gorgeous mischievous kids Davin and Jacob, who on the morning of the wedding were fortified with boiled eggs and toast in order to keep them going for the wedding at Luttrellstown Castle. The girls all got ready in Eoin and Megan’s fab new house in Clonsilla. I was blown away by Megan’s disco ball light and had everyone posing by it for effect. And Megan ended up getting ready in the kids room with the bunk beds as there was more floor space for putting on the fabulous dress designed by the White Room Mullingar. The dress didn’t stop Megan from climbing up the turret staircase for a photo or indeed running across Luttrellstown Castle lawns.

The ceremony was very touching with the kids pouring sand, hand fastening and personal readings by friends and family. The small gathering were able to enjoy a few glasses of prosecco before heading in for a fabulous meal at the wedding at Luttrellstown Castle.

The biggest excitement was the surprise of fireworks outside looking out over the grounds of Luttrellstown Castle. Eoin and Megan looked amazing together as a backdrop between the colourful rockets in the sky. And with such a warm still evening, a lot of guests just sat on the steps outside enjoying the evening and commenting on how amazing the pair of them looked together. With Davin and Jacob due back to school, the newleyweds were planning a staycation but lets hope when things improve, they might get to head off for their exotic honeymoon. I will never forget the words of part of their ceremony to give us all a boost “The things you plan together, make the whole world seem just right”
